Excursion To Panchpokhari

To the north-east of Kathmandu lies the Langtang National Park. The off-the beaten trail to Panch Pokhari (Literary means five ponds) situated at 4462 meters offers excellent hike through beautiful oak and Rhododendron forest with magnificent views. The snow capped mountains of Jugal Himal at sunrise and the interaction with Sherpas who live in this region makes this trek worthwhile.

Day-01: Drive Kathmandu-Chitwan (5 hrs).
Treks to Aam Pipal (1418m).

Camp.
Day-02: Trek to Okhreni (2052m).
Day-03: Trek to Bhadramali Danda (3162m).
Day-04: Trek to Panikuwa (3800m).
Day-05: Trek to Nasem Pati (3862m).
Day-06: Trek to Panch Pokhari (4462m).
Day-07: Excursion of The Panch Pokhari Lake.

Day-08: Trek to Hutanbrang.

Camp.
Day-09: Trek to Yangri.

Camp.
Day-10: Trek to Gangkharka (1788m).

Camp.
Day-11: Trek to Tarkheghyang (2560m). Camp.
Day-12: Trek to Tharepati Pass 9 (3597m). Camp.
Day-13: Trek to Kutumsang (2471m). Camp.
Day-14: Trek to Chisopani 92194m), Camp.
Day-15: Trek to Sundarijal. A short 11/2 hrs. drive will bring you to Kathmandu.
