The IME Impex Sdn. Bhd 82 Jalan Tun H.S. Lee 50000, Kualalumpur, Malaysia is recently established on 27 March 2002 with the approval of Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM). The IME Impex Sdn. Bhd. is licensed for repatriating the income of Nepalese labor working in Malaysia through the May Bank. In this connection, the International Money Express (IME) Private Limited is established on May 2000 in Kathmandu under the approval of Nepal Rastra Bank (Central Bank of Nepal) to collect such repatriation from Bank of Kathmandu Limited and distribute the remittance to the concerned families. These two companies of Malaysia and Nepal are jointly working for the remittance of earning to Nepalese labor working in Malaysia through the proper banking channel. The Malaysian government also supported these activities to boost up the Nepalese economy. The International Money Express (IME) Private Limited is also licensed as authorized institution for bringing remittance from Japan, United Kingdom, United States of America and Gulf Countries through the banking channel.
